Olympic Gold & Silver
What's a jeweler to do when Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski walk into your store and say they need a great way to showcase their Olympic Medals? Well, that's what happened recently at our Campbell location. Frankly, it's all in a day's work around here. Because we have celebrities and well know sports figures as clients, so we have come to expect custom project requests like these.
For Joe Thornton, the trick was to make a two-sided, museum and archival quality display with photos and engraved plate that featured the Olympic Gold Medal suspended in prominent view. After a bit of brainstorming and planning a team of talented folks complete the first display.
It's a great honor to be asked to work on projects like this and we appreciate the faith these guys have in us to take care of their treasured medals and get the job done right. In these pictures you can see the front and back of Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski's medals as well as Joe Thornton's Gold Medal all framed and ready to deliver.
